While reading the latest issue of one of our favorite music mags Wax Poetics, I came across one of the most on point answers ever. To the somewhat cliche question ‘how do you want your songs to be remembered?’ he replied: ‘I just want people to enjoy my records. When you go to a club and you’re getting your drink on, you want to do so while you’re listening to good music. If the music sucks, then you’re just gonna feel like an alcoholic. I don’t want to make anyone feel like an alcoholic.’ We want Rick back!
