Who ever said that techno music is just for ignorant white people? Of course not! If there is one originator trying to keep it musical and pushing the borders, its Detroit producer / musician Carl Craig. Craig, never shy to cross-over to other genres, recently preformed his original compositions with a French orchestra. From a computer to a 30 piece orchestra.. pretty amazing! We at Musicmusic keep ourselves busy with music. When we are not producing music for an artist or for a commercial, we listen to it or, in this case, compile it. Together with graphic artist Niels “Shoe” Meulman we have come up with a limited edition, hand numbered compilation CD, entitled “Knockknock”. It is the first edition of a series where concept, music and art come together. Try to squeeze one out of us, but be quick, there’s only a hundred made. See some pictures of the damn thing below. You can also listen the first thirty minutes of the mix here

Is new romantic experiencing a comeback? This fashion trend enjoyed its peak in the early eighties and had a big impact on music. At the time it seemed that every band dressed up the same, remember Duran Duran, Visage or Boy George. We have reason to believe this trend is having a comeback, as this example proves. It must be an art school thing (again).
